3 Evangelical Podcasts That Will Change Your Life and Relationships

I got married this May. All throughout our six-month engagement, we sought out counseling, books, wise mentors, online articles, and podcasts to help us prepare for marriage. We read and listened to hours of content from a variety of sources, and want to share the top three resources we found from the Podcasts app available on our iPhones and in the Apple App Store for a few reasons: first, they are all FREE; second, you can listen to them on your phone, in the car, on your iPod, on your computer, wherever; and third, you can pick and choose from hundreds of topics and selections thanks to iTunes’ deep library of archived content (did I mention they are all free?):

1) Truth for Life with Alistair Begg:  His vocal fluctuation, British accent, and hard-hitting truths are a great combination for hour-long sermons that seem short. Check out the Truth for Life website for articles and more about his ministry and messages (over 55 million of his messages have been downloaded since 2009).

2) Building Relationships with Gary Chapman: Not only is Gary a Wheaton alumnus, he has a significant ministry with Moody Radio in Chicago. Covering topics ranging from communication to spiritual intimacy, this podcast, from the author of NYT-bestseller The 5 Love Languages, delivers.

3) Focus on the Family Daily Broadcast: Candid, biblically-based commentary on current events, family life, and (sometimes) political and cultural issues is appreciated from Jim Daly and John Fuller. They often welcome guests like the Village Church pastor Matt Chandler and others.

Don’t miss out on downloading these free podcasts–your time at the gym, home, or office will never be the same, and your thoughts and actions with family will be healthier every day!
